to history of bellydance. Various styles. Shakti personal
history. Basic outline of what you will learn in 6 weeks
is handed out, along with directions on bellydance circles
for the head, shoulders, chest, and hips. |

short review of lesson 1. This class focuses on arm formations
when you dance and all moves for your hips. Hip up, hip
down, hip in, hip out, hip shimmies, shoulder shimmies.
Drum solo tape and choreo given out along with explanations

focuses on hand modalities, new arm sequences, clock hips,

Lets Bellydance
These classes are designed for students
who have completed Shakti-Selene Basic Belly dance. Every 4
weeks the venue changes. We study in these weeks; Tribal, Egyptian,
Turkish Bellydance styles. Each class has unique choreography
with handouts that you can use to develop your own choreography
and study different forms of Middle Eastern Dance.
